So, we have had a lot of snow over the last few weeks here in our desert. I love having the snow around. I really do. So, imagine how mad I was when the stupid chinook wind came through. If you click here it will explain a chinook more but basically it is a warm, dry wind that comes through and gets rid of all the snow, either from evaporating or melting (and yes, I did already know that before looking at the link). The only kind of chinook I ever liked was the basketball team that used to be here. Otherwise, it is just annoying that in such a short period of time all my snow disappears!!!! I just wanted to vent my frustration!!!

I remember buying $5 tickets to the Chinook games. I was sad when they left.
I saw some pics of a couple trees that were uprooted last night in Kennewick. Remember the wind storm that came through just after we moved to Tri-Cities?
That was insane!!! I really missed California that night! Have you seen any pictures of what is going on in Seattle area? There is massive flooding right now!!! It looks like we got off easy with the winds.
I wish that basketball team was back, although I get so much basketball just going to Jay's games that I don't know if I would go watch more, especially if I had to pay for it!!!
I am colder now than when it was snowy all over. That wind bites right thru all your layers clear down to your bones and lets in all the cold to freeze you clear to your heart! I'll take any kind of weather but the wind. I hate the wind.
I'm with you! I like the snow. I don't mind driving in it. If it's going to be cold outside there might as well be pretty snow to look at and play in!
The wind, cold or warm, I could do without!
