So, I am taking another poll of sorts. This time I want to know what makes you happy. What makes you smile? What types of things, big or small, make your day? I have started keeping a book where I write down things that are good and got to thinking, "I wonder what other people would be writing if we all had books like this." So, I ask now, what are some of the things that make you happy?

Children, especially my grandchildren, they truly are GRAND.
Being with them, watching them, hearing about them, talking to them, just thinking about them makes me smile. I used to think that being a mother was the ultimate gift from God, but now I know that being a grandmother is the most precious gift that we ever get in this life.

I love spending time with family and I love it when they go to bed on time!

When my 6 year old daughter becomes the little "mommy" to her brothers! Its so sweet to see her being kind and helping them... and hoping that she learned that from watching me! :)
