I am auctioned out and I still have a week and a half to go! I did a service auction for enrichment in March (which went great) and now I am doing the silent auction for Michelle's school.
I have no idea why I signed up for this. I was told there would be people to help but never had a list of names, so I guess I should have known better. I was told I'd have info from past years but didn't have it in my hand, so I guess I should have known better. Regardless, I am doing the silent auction and am wearing out!
So I have been asking myself, why did I sign up for a big thing so early in my school mom career? My oldest child is only in kindergarten! I have SO many more years coming up, times when I would have more freedom during the day to get things done, and yet I sign up now! I guess I keep forgetting that there is SO much time to do things, I don't have to do it all now! Next year, I will only help with things, I will not be in charge of anything! I still want to be involved and want to help with more than just sitting at PTA meetings but I have so much time to be in charge of things, I don't have to do it now.
I am usually saying that my kids are making me crazy but I must confess, right now, I am making me CRAZY!!!!!!

I'm sorry it's such a pain for ya. Notice that I'm not in charge of anything, ha ha. I'm always glad to help but I hate running an event!
That's why I vow never to help anyone with anything. Ever. So much less stress. But that's just the way I am.
And that is why I am so proud that you are my brother!
