So, it is official, all three of my kids are now in primary! When each of the girls reached Sunbeams, they were so excited and ready to go!!! Tyler, on the other hand, isn't too excited about going to Primary, or should I say, he isn't too excited about not getting to go to nursery!! I have been trying to figure out what would be the best option for him but, having not experienced this before, I just don't know!
So, I am asking all of you moms and primary teachers who have helped kids with this before to help me now. What is your opinion? I am open to your ideas. I figure the more options I have to choose from, the more likely it is that I will find what works for us.
Thanks in advance!!

It is better if a "friend" walks him to opening exercises, this can be someone his own age, or an adult he knows. The thing is it is not so hard for someone else to leave him in Sunbeams as it is for his Mom or Dad to just drop him off and leave him there. There were some Sunbeams I would take to class that way, less trauma. But it is important for him not to go back to nursery any more, that is no longer an option.
Sorry, I am not going to be any help. Both of mine have gone with no problem, I guess I got lucky! With time he'll probably realize there is fun to be had in primary too!
