I decided to pause on the Disneyland pictures (yes, there are more!) to share some fun video of our afternoon with the new slip n' slide!
Tyler's technique was the run, jump, fall, and army crawl!
Whitley got it down pretty good, so good in fact she started sliding past the little barrier at the end!
Michelle was tentative! She did the run, hit the knees, to the belly, then kind of slide!
Jay had gotten home while we were outside playing and was talking with me for a little bit then decided to go inside. I thought that he should have stayed out and had fun with us. Little did I know, he had a plan! He went inside and got his swimsuit on, then came out the back and around the side of the house, watching for his turn, then came running out and dove down the slide (this video is from a different time). It was so surprising and we were all smiling until we realized that in Jay's effort to get around Whitley, he missed his jump a little and jarred his back! My poor man is sitting on the couch in pain right now!! I guess that is the price he pays for being a fun dad!
Be patient with me, for those of you who are sick of the Disneyland pictures, or have seen most of them on Facebook already, sorry, there are still those who haven't seen them yet, so they will keep coming for a little while longer! After that, I have been saving up a VERY special post! I held off on it, knowing that Disneyland posts would be coming and I didn't want all of that to overshadow the super special post that will be coming soon...
