We survived the first 24 hours with Jay gone, although it didn't start out so great. Last night our washing machine didn't drain properly when it was rinsing and so the water ended up all over the laundry room floor instead of down the pipe!!! That was a lot of fun! I had been getting the kids to bed and spending extra time getting them tucked in and such since they were missing daddy already. Then I go to sit down and relax only to hear something off in the laundry room. It was quite fun. So much for my relaxing bath that night, there weren't any dry towels left after that! Oh well. It really wasn't that bad, it could have been a lot worse. This morning we tried to go to the free movie at the movie theater only to get there early, wait for it to start, and then find out the projector was broken!! So no Shrek for us today. The girls got to go on a special shopping trip with their great grandma, Grandma Donna, and great aunt, Auntie Rose. They had a blast. They went to lunch then went shopping and spent all sorts of time trying on the clothes and everything. It was just an afternoon all about them, which was great for them. Tyler and I went home so he could nap and then we went and got hair cuts. Tyler looks really cute. I actually cut it somewhat short this time. I have had a hard time with cutting his hair, I don't know what my problem is but I just don't like it short. It really does look good and he doesn't have any hair in his eyes, so that's a plus. I got my hair permed. I love it. I think it looks great!! I will post a picture when I have someone to take a picture of me! Only three more days until Jay gets home!! Even if he will only be home for a little bit we are looking forward to it.
