Day 2

So we have made it through another day with Jay out of town. This morning started with me going to a doctor's appointment for a test. I had to stay up late last night and then wake up at 5:00 this morning so that I would be tired for the test. Funny thing is I am always tired anyway so I didn't actually have to get up quite that early. This afternoon we went to the library's summer reading picnic at the park. We got to see Wiggle Like a Fish, which is a guy who sings and plays guitar doing fun kids songs and has Wiggles the fish with him.





This is the kids with Wiggles the fish and their friends Elizabeth and Olivia. The fish's fin kept brushing Tyler's head and he didn't like it at all!! He got very mad.
Tonight we had our first soccer game. We had tons of fun. The other team was so confused, they were going to have all of the kids on their team play at once. Talk about chaos, 25 kids all 4 and 5 years old running around trying to kick the ball!!! Luckily it didn't end up that way.
Since Jay was gone his brother Matthew came and helped coach!! I was very glad that he came to help!!

What do you think Jay? I think he looks younger actually. At least he can see better now with his hair out of his eyes!! I took this picture at McDonald's. We went there after the soccer game for ice cream with Grandma Kitty. Actually first the kids and I had to eat some dinner because I took a nap this afternoon and when I woke up I had time to start dinner and get the kids ready for soccer. The problem was that while getting the kids ready for soccer I managed to burn part of the dinner and the other part didn't cook at all!! Some days I am such a scatter brain!!
