Day 3

Well, we only have one more day before we get to hug Jay. The girls are really looking forward to Daddy being here to tell them good night.

Today was our second arts and crafts play day. We made paper roll butterflies.

Snack time got messy for some but was fun for everyone. Elizabeth ended up with a chocolate frosting nose. Michelle, Whitley, and Olivia had frosting all around their mouths. Paige and Jane managed to stay pretty clean. Our friend Katie was here to make butterflies with us but she went home before the snacks so I would assume she had a clean face too! We are having so much fun with this. It is good for me to have this to plan and organize, not that it takes much, but it feels good to have that something that I can accomplish and feel good about doing.

After the play group Grandma Bubbles, Jay's mom, came and got the kids. She took them to her house and they had dinner there. Then she took the girls down to the park to play in the wading pool there. Tyler stayed home with Papa. They had so much fun. Matthew, Jay's brother, called to say Mom is putting the kids in the tub so I could come down to pick them up and bring home kids who were tired, bathed, and in pajamas! That was great!!!
