Jay came home!!! The kids all got so excited to see him!! They ran out on the porch to meet him. Today was fairly uneventful before Jay got home. We went to story time at the library this morning. We came home and had a quiet afternoon. I had rented a movie, Becoming Jane, to watch last night but ended up falling asleep so I watched it this afternoon while Tyler napped and the girls played in the play room. It was nice. We had a dinosaur adventure dinner. We had 
fun with it. I thought it was very creative. I used ranch dressing for the dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets to stand up in. Then I stacked up t
ater tots for a volcano and used ketchup for the lava. Whitley doesn't like ketchup so she just had a mountain. I put carrot slices on a toothpick for tree trunks and then put broccoli on top for the leaves and also used it for some bushes.
Anyway, I am proud of my own creativity!!! Every once in a while I have a good idea.
Poor Jay is over on the couch trying to watch a show with me but is falling asleep. He is so tired!! I'm sure that if he let himself he would sleep from now until when he has to leave again tomorrow!!

I love your creative food! Did they eat it all like that too? Even better if they did. Sorry we couldn't go to the library on Friday. Other stuff going on....Check out Wellings blog from mine. They finally updated. Their blog is so funny.
They actually did eat it. Michelle doesn't usually like the dinosaur chicken so I asked her if she would try it another time so that we could have fun with it. She decided that since I was going to make it look fun she would try it again. She ate it so well.
