So I was looking back at the picture of Michelle's first day (well the first day with just the kids in the class) and realized I forgot to mention her backpack. She got a Hannah Montana backpack from Uncle Matthew and Amanda for her birthday, which was on a Saturday. She wore it as much as she could on Sunday around the house. We are such mean parents because we didn't let her take it to church!! These pictures are Monday morning. I knew that she had put the book she was reading in the backpack to take to her room with her the night before but didn't think anything of it until she came out Monday morning wearing her backpack. At first, all I could think was to ask if she wore it to bed, which she didn't. Then I thought I'd sneak and get a picture but she was too quick for me and realized I had the camera. She loved that we were getting a picture of her backpack because it is just so special and she wants to remember it forever and ever! Once again, my child makes me smile!!
