Back in September Richland had a City Fair. They have booths set all around the parking lot at the city office buildings. They have people there from different city departments with information and little games for kids. They also open up the fire house that is across the street and a booth for the police department. We had gone once in the past and the girls loved it. They mention it most times we drive past that fire house. The girls decided they wanted to make a thank you card for the firemen and then after thinking about it they decided they wanted to make one for the policemen too. So before we went to the City Fair the girls made thank you signs and off we went. These pictures are of when we took the sign to the firemen.
They loved it!! They taped it up right away and were calling other guys over to see it. They thought it was so cute. When we went over to the police booth (my camera battery had died by then) they were having to run off to direct traffic because of some broken street lights near by. They stopped and were so happy. The lady we gave the sign to gave the girls hugs and then got on her radio and announced that she had something really cool to show everyone when she got back to the station. The girls squealed with excitement about that!!
Gotta love gratitude!!
