She C.A.R.E.S.

I am so proud of my Michelle!! She has had a hard year and has been an absolute trooper through it all!! She is such an incredible person and I learn so much from being her mom! Today she was able to be recognized for some of her wonderful behavior. At Jason Lee they have a C.A.R.E.S. motto. It stands for Cooperation, Attitude, Respect, Effort, and Safety. Throughout the year they have had assemblies giving out awards for each category then today they had an award for one (sometimes two) students in each class who excelled in all 5 categories. Well, I bet you can guess what is coming!! Michelle won the C.A.R.E.S. award for her class! She was so excited! Afterward she said her heart was pounding and legs were shaking while she was standing up there!! Here are a couple pictures we took after. The other pictures didn't turn out very well.
